THE SCRIPTURES – We believe that the Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired; that is the truth without mixture of error; and that it is the standard by which all human conduct and creeds should be tried.  II Timothy 3:15-17

THE TRUE GOD – We believe that there is one, and only one, True and Living God; that is in the unity of the God-head there are three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.  John 4:24 and John 10:30

THE FALL OF MAN – We believe that man was created in holiness, but by voluntary transgression fell from that holy state, in consequence of which all mankind are now sinners and are under condemnation of eternal ruin.  Genesis 1:27 and Romans 5:12

THE WAY OF SALVATION – We believe that the salvation of sinners is wholly of grace through the atoning death and bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ.  Ephesians 2:8-9, Isaiah 53:4-4 and Hebrews 7:25

JUSTIFICATION – We believe that through justification the perfect righteousness of God is imputed to the believers in Christ Jesus.  Acts 13:39 and Romans 5:1-2

THE FREENESS OF SALVATION – We believe that the blessings of salvation are made free to all by the Gospel, and that nothing prevents the salvation of the greatest sinner but his own depravity and rejection of the Gospel.  Isaiah 55:1 and John 3:16

GRACE IN REGENERATION – We believe that in order to be saved, sinners must be regenerated or born again through the work of the Holy Spirit.  John 3:3 and      II Corinthians 5:17

REPENTANCE AND FAITH – We believe that repentance and faith are inseparable steps in salvation.  Mark 1:15 and Romans 19:9

GOD’S PURPOSE AND ELECTION – We believe that election is the eternal purpose of God, according to which He graciously saves and sanctifies sinners; and that this is consistent with the free agency of man.  Romans 8:28, 31 and II Peter 1:10-11

SANCTIFICATION – We believe that sanctification is a progress by which the believer is made a partaker of God’s Holiness and Righteousness.  It is carried on in the hearts of believers by the presence and power of the Holy Spirit.  I Thessalonians 4:3 and Philippians 2:12-13

THE PRESERVATION OF THE SAINTS – We believe that only real believers endure to the end, and that they are kept by the power of God through faith in Jesus Christ.  Romans 8:38-39 and II Timothy 1:12

A GOSPEL CHURCH – We believe that a New Testament Church as established by Christ, is a congregation of baptized believers bound together in faith, love, and fellowship of the Gospel.  Acts 2:41-42 and Matthew 28:18-20

BAPTISM AND THE LORD’S SUPPER – We believe that baptism is the immersion of a believer in water and in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, done so on the authority of Jesus Christ.  We believe that baptism is a prerequisite to the Lord’s Supper and only such as have been scripturally baptized are proper subjects for the Lord’s Supper.  Acts 8:36, Matthew 28:19 and I Corinthians 11:26

THE SABBATH – We believe the principle of working six days and resting on the seventh is to be kept sacred and that the first day of the week is set aside as the Lord’s Day.  Acts 20:7 and Exodus 20:8

WORLD TO COME - We believe at the last day Christ will descend from Heaven and raise the dead; and that a solemn judgment and separation will then take place, and that His judgment will fix forever the final state of mankind in Heaven or in Hell.  Acts 1:11, Acts 24:15, Mathew 13:49, and Matthew 25:1-46

PURPOSE – It shall be the purpose of this body to: Carry out the great commission of our Lord through worship, proclamation, education and ministry of good will to all mankind.  Matthew 28:18-20

SEXUAL IMMORALITY - We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a biological man and a biological woman. We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery, and pornography are sinful perversions of God’s gift of sexual intercourse. We believe that God disapproves of and forbids any attempt to alter one’s gender by surgery or appearance.  (Gen. 2:24; Gen. 19:5, 13; Gen. 26:8-9; Lev. 18:1-30; Rom. 1: 26-29; 1 Cor. 5:1; 6:9; 1 Thess. 4:1-8; Heb. 13:4)

We believe that the only Scriptural marriage is the joining of one biological man and one biological woman.  (Gen. 2:24; Rom. 7:2; 1 Cor. 7:10; Eph. 5:22-23)

LAWSUITS BETWEEN BELIEVERS - We believe that Christians are prohibited from bringing civil lawsuits against other Christians or the church to resolve personal disputes. We believe the church possesses all the resources necessary to resolve personal disputes between members. We do believe, however, that a Christian may seek compensation for injuries from another Christian’s insurance company as long as the claim is pursued without malice or slander.  (1 Cor. 6:1-8; Eph. 4:31-32).
